So, today I finally decided to buy reeds. I usually end up buying a box of ten per month plus any other accesories that I may need to get me through the month. Needless to say, I finally found a thumb cushion that actually was comfortable and didn't make my thumb feel weird. Usually the rests are... too cushy. If that could ever be a problem! These ones are magnificient! If you are a clarinet player and are in need of a thumb rest, get one and try them out. They're simply amazing. They're Valentino Clarinet Thumb Rest Cushions, and they are to die for. Not literally speaking of course!
There is only one problem with this thumb pad- they are NEVER in stock. I've checked www.wwbw.com www.music123.com and www.musiciansfriend.com. I always get my accessories from www.wwbw.com, but what I've noticed is the prices from all three of these websites are the same, or if not similar.
Eventually, I found a little loop hole in how to buy these fantasitc thumb pads. Instead of finding the 12 pack, you have to buy mulitple packs of two. The downside to this method is it is more expensive. But, if you really need them, it is worth the extra money.
